I have been
serving American Baptist congregations in Indiana for over thirty
years as a youth pastor, associate pastor, pastor, director of
camp ministry and area resource minister. I consider this part of
my education as one who has been called to be a minister of Jesus
Christ. In those 30 plus years, I have developed many
relationships with a wide variety of lay persons and clergy. I
consider this part of my ministry.
I realize that
these are difficult days in which to do local church ministry.
There are many challenges and obstacles to face for the local
church to do effective ministry. I also realize that God is up to
the task of facing these challenges and overcoming these
obstacles. I am committed to assisting congregations in
discovering the vision and mission that God has for them. I
believe that God has a particular mission for every Christian and
each congregation. I seek to help everyone discover God’s mission
for their life. Together we can seek God’s mission and live it
out in our lives each day.
I hope you will
invite me to talk with you, learn from you and share with you in
the great adventure of faith that God has for us.
