It is an honor to have been called to serve the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky as your Executive Minister. Over the last several years I have learned to appreciate the leadership of this region and know that it is a privilege to minister with you as we seek God's leadership and direction for the years ahead.

In my role as Executive Minister I have overall responsibility for the region 
staff, as well as its programs, initiatives and mandates. I also represent 
the ABC/IN-KY at the local, regional and national levels through service on 
various boards and committees. Within the region my direct responsibilities include staffing the Region's Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the Finance and Investment Committees, Personnel Committee and Nominating Committee. In addition I serve on the Boards of Franklin College, Baptist Homes of Indiana and Edna Martin Christian Center. Nationally I am a member of the Regional Executive Minister's Council and the General Executive Council.

Keeping Jesus Christ at the center of all we do, maintaining a focus on 
prayer, trusting and utilizing an exceptionally gifted staff and believing 
that the heart of our region's ministry rises from within the local church, I
