Ministerial Search Process
With ABC/IN-KY
For ABC Ministerial Leaders

If you are an American Baptist Ministerial Leader, which means your ordination is recognized and in good standing with American Baptist Churches USA, and/or you are currently serving an ABC congregation in the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky, or another American Baptist Region, this page gives you information on how to work with ABC/IN-KY Regional Staff in seeking your next ministerial call. 

The following documents must be on file with the ABC/IN-KY regional office in order for your profile to be active in our files:

• Your current ABPS Profile OR ABC/IN-KY Resume Form for ABC bivocational pastors (to be used in place of ABPS Profile)
• A signed copy of the Covenant & Code of Ethics of the ABCUSA Ministers Council
• A signed copy of the Sexual Misconduct/Domestic Violence Disclosure Form
• A Completed ABC/IN-KY Placement Information Questionnaire

Upon receipt of your request, and the above documents, a reference form will be sent to the ABC Region in which you are currently serving for completion by the Executive or Area Minister. When all documentation is in order your name and information will be placed into the ABC/IN-KY Minister Selection Process and be active for up to one year from your last contact with us.
