The apostle Paul wrote, “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them...”(Romans 12:4-6)
Every individual, and every congregation, has a style. Every individual, and every congregation, has a personality. What if you and your congregation could share your faith in a way that fit your style? Maybe then, the thought of evangelism wouldn’t leave you feeling queasy and uneasy!
Evangelism was never meant to be a difficult task. Instead, it should flow naturally out of your life as others see Jesus Christ living through you and your church. Through Got Style evangelism, you will discover that you have been given the ability and the opportunity to share your story about Christ with people you see every day in the normal course of life.
What is "Style?"
While each style has its own set of characteristics, every style has a place
in the ministry of evangelism.
The styles (with one of the characteristics of each style) are:
• assertive (confident)
• intellectual (logical)
• story-telling (engaging)
• friendship (conversational)
• invitational (hospitable)
• servant (compassionate)
This workshop is available for any group--pastors’ gatherings, association
meetings, area meetings and more.
